TEN 3 Promotes interdisciplinary transnational co-operation
The TEN partnership has paid a lot of attention to the promotion of the interdisciplinary transnational co-operation done under Interreg IIC. This is guided by the regional perspective of the ESDP, the spatial perspective of the North Sea Region (NorVision). TEN 3 will concentrate on this activity too to implement the cross border thinking into the spatial planning of the regions involved; also raising the awareness of the need for cross-discipline problem-solving when considering water corridors, because nature doesn't respect borders. We start public relations work of the experiences in international ecological and informational networking, transnational and cross discipline projects, to advertise the European level of operation and thinking and the value of a trans-national partnership to the experts and the general public (top-down exchange) by reports, brochures, articles, leaflets, cd-rom and internet sites should state the high regard the TEN partners give to this objective. We will seek access to international forums to fill in our policy on this objective.
